The Sacconi Quartet present Jonathan Dove’s string quartet ‘Out of Time’ (taken from their album ‘In Damascus’), a hauntingly atmospheric film, shot in the Folkestone Leas Pavilion, a magnificent but forgotten and now derelict 1902 theatre that sits atop the cliffs.

In the changed musical landscape of 2020 the quartet wanted to produce a premium-quality concert experience – combining high-fidelity audio with rich and intimate visual compositions to an online audience.

Alongside the 20 minute concert film, the video-on-demand package includes behind the scenes rehearsal footage and exclusive interview with the quartet.

Licensed exclusively to Amazon Prime Video, all proceeds from sales will go to the ‘Hands Up Foundation’ (charity no. 1156491). The charity works to transform the lives of Syrians in need through health and education programmes in Syria and neighbouring countries. This is a particularly poignant moment, given that March2021 marks 10 years since the start of Syria’s conflict.
